PBSF has developed NeonLens, a proprietary solution based on immersive technology that transforms the way neonatal care is conducted at the bedside. More than a visual innovation, it is a new way to integrate medical assistance, clinical protocols, and real-time decision-making, focusing on safety, standardization, and agility.

With NeonLens, the healthcare team has access to interactive clinical protocols, designed to support real-time actions during critical situations. The solution operates through mixed reality, combining digital elements with the physical environment, allowing professionals to visualize step-by-step care with structured and responsive guidance tailored to the care flow.

In addition to guided assistance, NeonLens also enables integrated video calls with PBSF specialists directly from the Neonatal ICU. This allows for remote clinical support during complex procedures, ensuring agility and reducing the risk of incorrect actions—especially in hospitals without 24/7 on-site specialists.

Currently, the technology is used through Microsoft HoloLens 2, adapted to the Neonatal ICU environment. However, PBSF is already working on developing optimized versions for external situations, integrated with smart glasses such as Vuzix or Realwear. The goal is to expand the use of NeonLens to scenarios where time and mobility are critical, such as emergency units (ERs) and ambulances, ensuring that remote support and guided protocols are available from the very first minutes of care.

NeonLens is more than a tool: it is an extension of PBSF's clinical expertise, embedded in an intuitive, responsive system prepared for the real care environment. A bridge between technical knowledge, cutting-edge technology, and humanized care.
